WELCOME! My memoir, Catching Rain, has been well received and I am deeply grateful to those who have personally reached out to let me know they enjoyed in spite of feeling uncomfortable at times. ‘Uncomfortable’ is a space that opens us to discovery. Some describe it as “heartbreaking” or “joyful,” “thought provoking” or “inspiring.” I am happy with each.

I created this site to occasionally keep readers up to date on all things Catching Rain. Now that it has been launched into the world, others will decide how far it reaches and who it touches. I will continue supporting it but have begun a new writing project and spring is calling me into the garden!

I intend to update the award section and become more consistent with the Blog by exploring topics covered in the book and also in our lives. Book club members can still find discussion prompts on the Catching Rain book page, including chapter-by-chapter questions that may help begin discussions.
